Crime Prevention Event
On Wednesday 22nd November we held a “Crime Prevention” event for Holywood businesses, delivering a talk packed full of practical advice on the support available to business owners to help deal with crime together with issues to be aware of in the run up to Christmas.
The PSNI Crime Prevention team were in attendance and provided valuable information on:
1. The Safe Shop Scheme
2. Spotting Counterfeit notes
3. Dealing with Incendiary Devices
4. Crime Prevention
In addition Ards & North Down Council launched the new Text Alert scheme – which has been designed to help keep businesses aware of local crime prevention intelligence.
Thanks to all those who attended the event, especially at this busy time of the year!
Special Thanks to Dolores Coulter and PSNI Holywood, Aidan O’Reilly Ulster Bank and Alan McCay Ards and North Down Borough Council for delivering a great informative session and to one of our members, Camphill Community Holywood for hosting the event and providing lovely refeshments.
